11-11 Memories Retold takes place on November 11, 1916. The story follows a young photographer who went to the Western Front in Europe. On the same day, a German mechanic received a letter from a relative who disappeared without a trace in battle. These two central characters decide to go to the front, but remain human, try not to kill and find their loved ones. The photographer from Canada also has relatives in the war, whom he really wants to see. He will have to go through countless difficulties to get to his goal. On the way, the two heroes will see people being killed, they themselves will take part in battles and watch brutal battles.The gameplay is done in an artistic style, the whole picture is presented as a drawing with paints. Elijah Wood and Sebastian Koch voiced the central characters - Harry and Kurt. As you progress, during dialogues, they will express their feelings. Olivier Deriviere's soundtrack creates an excellent atmosphere, allowing you to immerse yourself even more in the passage. The gamer will visit various cities of that time, go on a journey on a ship, visit the center of a battle and fly in a hot air balloon, crossing the border of states. The characters will learn many of the brutal events that took place during the First World War.
