3030 Deathwar Redux - A Space Odyssey combines two modes with different genres. In the space simulator, the user explores star systems, as well as extracts resources and hunts pirates, where the top-down mode is used. In the open-world adventure, the gamer can leave the spaceship, searching for ruins and cities, talking with characters.Events start in 3029, when nanomachines attack not only humanity, but also alien allies of earthlings. Together, the races of people and aliens barely managed to survive in the battle with the nanomachine cleaners, but the territories where the war unfolded became uninhabitable. Survivors settle on ships and space stations scattered throughout the galaxy. The story campaign consists of ten stages. John Falcon - a hero, a rogue, an adventurer. The guy is just trying to survive and earn money. In the process, the protagonist will join the Daos corporation, which seeks to find out who sent the cleaners and with what intentions. The player explores space and star systems, moving freely, is engaged in trade - sells found items and buys the necessary ones, and also fights in a top-down format. John also carries out missions, hunts space pirates, searches for ruins and abandoned buildings, wormholes that allow you to quickly move, delivers different types of cargo, and even takes photos of space objects.Starships are presented here in different types - trader, interceptor, allrounder, which are opened and bought as you progress, and are also equipped with weapons. Among the weapons, guns and missiles are mainly offered, and among the additional equipment of the ship there are shields, scanners, afterburners, tractor beams, engines, fuel buckets. Having landed at the station, the guy trades, conducts dialogues, completes tasks, and upgrades various items.
