9-nine-:NewEpisode

9-nine-:NewEpisode is a visual novel that is part of a small series. It's not a full numbered game, but something of an offshoot. Each part told the story of a particular heroine (four in all). The spin-off takes place between episodes 3 and 4 of the saga. It told the story of all the heroines at once. Haruka, Miyako, Noa, Sora. Users control a guy named Kakeru. All characters are voiced by Japanese seiyu. This game features the ability to include text display in two languages at once. For example: simultaneously in English and Japanese. The video game is non-linear, but it doesn't give you a choice right away. It needs to be played multiple times to get the true ending.

2D anime-style cutscenes by Izumi Tsubasu. 9-nine-:NewEpisode has a gallery where you can separately view CG art. The title is in a sci-fi setting. The story has time jumps. The action takes place in the town of Shiromitsugawa. There after one incident some people got superhuman abilities. They use new powers to try to find and stop a serial killer. In this sequel, a detective story with elements of romance, mysticism, comedy and everyday life is designed for those who have passed the previous parts. This is essentially a prequel to the concluding fourth episode.
