A Plague Tale: Innocence is an intense and exciting adventure in the cruel world of the Middle Ages. The action takes place in France. It is the 14th century - the period when religion was the main explanation for the existence of God's punishment, diseases and adversity. And at that time it was extremely important, because a deadly plague exterminated the population of large cities and small villages. The streets are teeming with well-fed rats that breed from total unsanitary conditions. An even greater scourge for the residents was the Holy Inquisition, prowling the streets in search of witches, Satanists and other representatives of the unclean on Earth. The main character of A Plague Tale: Innocence is a young girl named Amicia, who, together with her younger brother, is fleeing from the persecution of the so-called fighters against heretics. The chase occurs because little Hugo has fallen ill with something unknown. But where can children hide in a country that is bogged down not only in suffering from a virus, but also in a bloody war with a neighboring power. The gameplay of the project is a long journey through lands bogged down in suffering and evil. Dark corners of basements and other buildings attract rodents that spread infection, but in such an environment a horde of pests is capable of eating even a healthy man alive. Only fire can scare them away. Enemy soldiers are capable of killing - incendiary grenades, containers with acidic liquid and a throwing device for stones will help to fight off their attacks.
