A Way Out is a cooperative with a split screen, which can only be completed with a friend. The plot will throw the gamer and his comrade into prison. Each takes control of either Leo or Vincent. The prisoners have different characters and ended up in places that are not so distant for their reasons. The only thing that unites them is hatred for the person who deceived them. Despite the enmity that initially arose between the heroes, they decided to work together and escape from the colony. Over time, the protagonists will begin to open up to new sides and develop a greater trust in each other. Everyone has their own way of solving problems, quite often gamers will have to choose which path to take.Vincent has a calm, reasonable character. He prefers to solve problems with cunning, without attracting unnecessary attention. Leo, on the other hand, is extremely hot-tempered, most likely, will act with his fists. Due to the fact that the problem of choice occurs quite often, the gameplay becomes much more diverse. To get out of the colony, you need to act together. While one player distracts the guard, the other steals the keys to the camera. A Way Out likes to change the tone of the narrative, giving players both quite comedic moments and drama with elements of psychology. The gameplay also changes: it can be stealth, shooter, racing. At the same time, due to the split screen, both gamers will from time to time simultaneously play the same game, but in different genres.
