Abomination: The Nemesis Project

Abomination: The Nemesis Project takes place in a post-apocalyptic America, devastated by a devastating plague that has decimated the population. The story takes place in 1999, painting a grim picture of a nation on the brink of collapse. With communication lines between the East and West coasts cut in just 72 hours, hope is lost as the last remnants of society fall silent six days later.In this desolate landscape, a sinister cult known as the Faithful rises to power, winning the devotion of the few remaining survivors. They espouse a brutal ideology marked by self-inflicted physical torture and grotesque vivisections, all in the name of their beliefs. With roots going back centuries and possibly originating in Tibet, the Faithful predict the arrival of the Brood and the mysterious Elder Gods in a chilling Lovecraftian manner. The cult's origins are shrouded in mystery, and are tied to a centuries-old statue called the Death Princess, an eerie fusion of the Black Madonna and an ancient mother goddess. A revelation appears in the prologue, hinting at the statue's potential extraterrestrial origins, possibly linked to a meteorite impact from a bygone era. As the story progresses, users are confronted with a scene reminiscent of the Oval Office, where a figure eerily resembling President Bill Clinton dies of a deadly plague at his desk just moments after approving an emergency response plan mysteriously named Project Nemesis.
