Affected Zone Tactics sends the hero to a parallel world where minerals are mined to provide the Earth with energy resources in 2025. In these places there is a constant struggle between Corporations for possession of an energy analogue. The MMO strategy has turn-based battles in the PvP format, during which hundreds of types of weapons and dozens of equipment are used.There are 4 classes of characters in the game:

• Assault - a universal, capable of effectively coping with any operation during battles, attacking key points of the enemy and combat positions, defending fortifications. Has average parameters, and uses machine guns, grenades, hand grenade launchers.
• Heavy infantry - has powerful weapons and armor. Infantrymen break through the defense, leading the rest of the fighters, and using high firepower. Slow, the most visible class.
• Commando - a sniper with a wide view and stealth. Efficient in reconnaissance, and is able to get into any enemy places.
• Fire support - covers the enemy with a hail of bullets from a great distance. Weak armor, so requires help from other soldiers, but is careful and mobile.

Each fighter has 3 subclasses - specializations in a certain type of weapon. The gamer will have to go at the head of mercenaries through the Tesla portal to a parallel world. The goal is to defeat powerful Corporations. The passage is carried out in PvP mode, where the user enters the battles immediately, without preparation in solo. At the start, the user receives one ward at his disposal, but in the process, increasing skills and experience, he can assemble a whole squad, which he will lead himself. Experience is spent on new weapons, armor, upgrades that take place between battles. Credits received in battle are needed to buy first aid kits, stimulants, ammunition, and to pump them up. The gameplay is based on battles between random teams, each of which has 8 players. At the start, there are Alpha and Bravo groups that fight for 3 flags in turn-based mode. 2 action points are issued for each turn. Points are used to move around the map and abilities. To win, the enemy is completely exterminated or the gamer scores more victory points for the opponent.
