To complete Alexander, the user can use multiplayer, battles with artificial intelligence and single-player mode. The game is based on the film of the same name about the ancient Greek commander Alexander the Great. The gameplay involves large-scale battles with opponents, collecting resources, forming armed forces to conduct further military operations. Development of economic ties is necessary for creating armies. A feature of the game is the increase in the value of units. Thus, soldiers have such a characteristic as morale. It has a significant impact on the effectiveness of the unit in battle.During the gameplay, Alexander offers to take control of various heroes who belong to 4 different factions:

• Egypt - Azelmikos, Horemheb, Nectanebo;
• Persia - Bessus, Ochus, Darius III;
• Macedonia - Alexander the Great, Parmenion, Ptolemy;
• India - Porus, Abisar, Sambus.

The user can only use one of these heroes, while each of them has 3 types of abilities. The development of these abilities occurs through the use of experience points received by the protagonist. In the campaign mode, it is obtained at the beginning of the next mission for successfully completed previous tasks and the effectiveness of actions in battle with enemies. As for multiplayer and single player, experience is provided exclusively for enemies destroyed by the gamer.It is possible to extract resources such as iron, gold, stone, wood, provisions. Each of them is necessary for the formation of troops, construction and peasants. These resources are mined by civilians, they can also be found on the market as a result of exchange or purchase. The morale of units is increased by creating squads, which include various soldiers. There are 3 types of formation - classic, defensive, aggressive.
