Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is a first-person survival / horror project. The game was developed by The Chinese Room studio. The official release took place in September 2013.

Technically, the game is a 3D first-person action game. The game begins on New Year's Eve 1900. The main character, Oswald Mandus, is seized by a terrible fever, which he caught as a tourist in tropical Mexico. The disease plunged him into unconsciousness. He comes to his senses after a while, and realizes that something went wrong, but what exactly - Oswald himself cannot answer.

During a fever, he had a dream in which a certain machine appeared before his eyes. Gradually, delving deeper into the plot jungle, he begins to reveal the terrible secret of his amnesia. As the hereditary owner of a meat company, Oswald literally lives above the slaughterhouse. Descending lower and lower, more and more eerie and sophisticated pictures open before his gaze. And that's not scary. Then the real trash begins when two eyes blazing with dull anger look at him from the dark corridors.

Who created these flesh golems? Whose flesh was used to create human-pig hybrids? Who is behind the creation of the terrifying machine, with the help of which the godless creatures were created?
