In Ame no Marginal -Rain Marginal-, romantic relationships develop between completely opposite personalities. The visual novel is conducted from the perspective of an ordinary man living in a large Japanese city. He was raised in a complete family, received a higher education and got a prestigious job, and managed to start his own family. In Ame no Marginal, the main character is so mentally ill that she is forbidden to communicate with anyone from the outside world or patients without a doctor's permission.
