Amerzone: The Explorer’s Legacy is an adventure quest using backgrounds created in 3D. The famous Syberia screenwriter Benoit Sokal worked on the storyline of the single-player campaign. The wide range of locations presented, from spacious tropical forests to catacombs and settlements like Brittany, creates the necessary variety to enjoy the entire passage. Casual management allows you to reach a larger audience due to inexperienced players who want to immerse themselves in a well-developed story campaign. The story starts with a backstory that takes the gamer 60 years from the start of the gameplay itself - to 1932. The main character is a young, at that time, explorer named Alexander Valembua set off to conquer the unknown region of Amerzona to gain fame and recognition in the circles of lovers of adventure and great discoveries. The protagonist set off on a long journey with his friend Antonio Alvarez, who completely shared Alexander's interests. The peculiarity of the region called Amerzona was that it was inhabited by tribes that carried out their strange rituals using a giant egg laid by a white bird. In 1992, the elderly Valembua wants to go to those lands again. The main character wants to do this because no one believed his stories about the strange things in Amerzone. Now the protagonist is eager to obtain more convincing evidence, and Antonio will try to prevent this. Over such a long period, he has become the leader of the indigenous tribes and a very respected person among the natives.
