Amidst The Darkness allows users to embark on a dark and frightening journey, taking control of a hero trapped in dark tunnels. The game is made in the genre of horror-rollers, where the protagonist is forced to wade through a confusing maze of sewers and halls that are deep underground. The main task for the players is to find a way out in order to escape from the monsters living in the corridors. Gamers will wander amongst half-lit rooms containing a creepy, sadistic "Creature".

In Amidst The Darkness, gamers will have to solve spatial puzzles and unlock pathways to new areas of the map.
