Anachronox

Anachronox will tell the story of a possible future. A few centuries later, people during the exploration of nearby planetary systems find an object called Sender. It turned out to be a beacon capable of moving bodies with mass over huge distances. Thus began the human stellar expansion, during which earthlings met and became friends with a galaxy of alien races. A galactic center was also found, where the routes from all the stellar guiding beacons converged. This huge artificial cosmic body was home to an extinct unknown civilization. Young races began to gradually inhabit the planetoid, including people.The main character of the game Sly Booty lives in the slums of the planet Anachronox. Judging by his place of residence, as well as the fact that he is thrown out of the house by creditors, the guy is not doing well. After the initial cutscene, where the main character gets moral and physical beatings, he decides to radically change his life and earn some money. So he becomes a detective again and begins his path to glory, which is closely intertwined with an intergalactic conspiracy.Several space stations and planets will be available for exploration. Each large location has several linear levels, combined into one. Conventionally, they can be divided into dangerous and safe zones. In the first, experience and items are earned, in peaceful places live NPCs: you can trade with them and receive new tasks. As the plot develops, the protagonist gets a whole team of followers. New squad members help during battles with opponents and have a number of skills necessary to open hidden locations, locked chests and doors.
