In Anamorphine, the user will have to explore the past of the protagonist, who suffers from post-traumatic denial syndrome, in order to help him live on. The indie adventure is made in a surreal setting, where the characters' emotions are conveyed through their visualization. The presentation of the storyline does not involve the use of text, dialogue, voice acting, interface. The story, where there was a place for loss, depression, mental disorder, is presented with the help of images, volumetric sounds that direct the user to the right place, where he literally experiences the corresponding emotions and events.The plot centers on a married couple: a man who works as a photographer on a free schedule, and a woman - a cellist. Together, the lovers experience a lot of emotions, ups and downs, good and bad times, which is reflected on the guy's side. The couple recently moved to Montreal from the United States, where Elena got the opportunity to perform as part of a famous quartet. A tragic accident one day turns the life of the family upside down - the wife gets into a car accident, after which she loses all feelings, which causes her depression and the loss of her favorite job. Tyler suffers from denial syndrome after a mental trauma. The husband desperately goes through the memories in his head, trying to help his beloved, as well as resist past events that can enslave him. In his thoughts, the man gradually restores in his memory a series of events that caused their current relationship with his beloved. The character must come to terms with his own guilt in order to help the girl, but, being unable to do this, he himself loses his mind. Memories start playing a bad joke on him, erasing the line of time. The gamer will have to solve riddles to help the ward understand his past.
