But will the great commander be able to resist one of the strongest armies in the history of mankind?In Ancient Battle, the player must control his army, consisting of 4 classes of infantry: Recruits, Experienced, Veterans and Elite. A total of 38 different historical warriors are available for control, such as the Roman hastati, Spanish scutarii, bolt throwers or elephant riders. All chapters are based on real events and include such legendary events as: the Battle of Bargadas and the Battle of Lake Trasimene. You can play for both Hannibal's army and the Roman legions. Each encounter will require a detailed analysis of the situation, planning an attack and the ability to give reasonable orders. You need to make decisions quickly and clearly, because each action will change the outcome of the story. Due to the large strategic variability, each level can be completed in many ways, depending only on the imagination and skills of the general.
