ANNIE: Last Hope is a twin-stick shooter set in the 1990s. The plot tells the story of two lovers - Annie and Jack. Due to an outbreak of invasion of unknown creatures, more like monsters, the heroes were separated. They went in search of each other, but to do this they will have to overcome hundreds of monsters and fight with the living environment. Even in the supermarket there are tenacious food packages that can tear a person apart in an instant. The plot is divided into episodes where the player controls Annie or Jack. Almost at the end they fight together, and the second character is controlled by artificial intelligence. The user will have to go through linear levels, eliminating opponents along the way. Many elements of the environment are destructible, and enemies are also killed with the help of various objects. The gameplay has excellent physics. The levels are designed in a complex way and carefully worked out with small details. By killing monsters, the user will fill the environment with blood and remains. Zombies are climbing from all sides, and the heroes use advanced weapons to resist them. Among the weapons available are shotguns, machine guns or a rocket launcher. Explosions repel or dismember monsters. There are several types of enemies. Some of them appear in each area, are slow and die quickly. There are big guys or maneuverable small creatures. The wards are able to somersault to dodge dangers. Often, fights take place on the roadway, and cars crush monsters, or can hit the character.
