Apache: Air Assaul is an arcade flight simulator in which the gamer, in the role of a helicopter pilot, carries out dangerous missions in various parts of the globe. The game provides the opportunity to control one of several versions of the AH-64 Apache combat helicopter. You will need to use the capabilities of air vehicles in 16 large-scale missions in Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. The game has two flight models - one is purely arcade, and the other gives a real idea of the reality. The first allows you to control a military combat vehicle without stress, without worrying about complex procedures and full-fledged capabilities of the helicopter. The second is focused on maximum realism and competently reflects the physics of flight, although at the same time does not turn the game into a simulator that requires studying several hundred pages of the user manual. In addition to the single-player campaign, there is a multiplayer option in the form of four modes (team deathmatch, ground attack, capture of LZ and strike on points). An interesting addition is the co-op option, in which two users act as crew members of one helicopter, namely the pilot and the active shooter, using a machine gun to destroy enemy aircraft. Thanks to the technologies used in the updated engine, the game boasts beautiful views that set new standards for helicopter simulators. Finnish composer Panu Aaltio specially wrote various melodies for this virtual work.
