ARIDA: Backlands Awakening

ARIDA: Backlands Awakening is a charming and exciting adventure game made in 3D graphics with decent animation and visual design. The main character, a curious and brave girl named Cicera, faced with a terrible drought on the Brazilian plain. There are fewer animals - all potential prey has left the sun-scorched meadows in search of water. The soil is cracking from lack of moisture, and in such conditions Cicera will have to grow up and learn the wisdom of life, surviving in lands suffering from thirst and hunger. She will have to master adult skills in order to get the resources necessary to complete the main goal. The young girl dreams of finding her parents in the wastelands.On the journey, the protagonist will need sharpening stones so that the main tools - a machete and a hoe - do not become dull. The first is needed to cut a road through the thorny thickets, and the second is to harvest and dig wells, if you are lucky enough to find a source. It will be difficult at first, but the elders of the village where the adventure begins will come to the rescue. By carrying out the elders' orders, the character will receive food, drink and advice in return. Flora and fauna in the regions exhausted by the heat are extremely scarce, so it is necessary to use everything that nature gives, not neglecting even trifling gifts.Of the unpleasant moments, poor optimization is striking. The game often crashes, and those who are determined to see the ending will need stoic patience. Another point is puzzling with the narrow localization of the project. For a comfortable passage, knowledge of English or Portuguese is recommended. There are no other options here.
