The user is invited to participate in realistic battles that will unfold on vast maps. Initially, you will have a territory at your disposal, the length and width of which reach several tens of kilometers. However, in order not to stretch out the battles, then a smaller area will be available to choose from - for example, 2 by 2 kilometers. 7 factions are available for the game.In Armored Brigades, battles take place from a top-down view. An important component is the location of the troops in accordance with the existing terrain conditions - in some territories, fighters can be more protected, move faster, and so on. The player is provided with more than a thousand military units, each of which has personal characteristics and features. Units are divided into sea, air and land. By combining them and coordinating actions between them, the commander will participate in battles.Each type of fighter is effective in its own way against some, and weak compared to others. This difference is where you will have to think through and select combat tactics. Game events cover a significant period of time, starting from the 1960s and ending in 1991. Accordingly, there is an opportunity to choose the time at which the battle will unfold. Depending on this, the set of fighters suitable for use will change - closer to the nineties, new models will be opened, represented by more modern and dangerous ones.
