Armored Core: Last Raven allows you to control mech robots in a series of missions. There are over 65 tasks in total, and completing these quests provides credits needed to purchase parts and weapons, shape subsequent levels, and potentially control the direction of the narrative. The campaign offers extensive customization options, offering 300,000 credits and a basic armor core. Hundreds of parts and weapons are available, and each choice changes the experience significantly. Notably, a component damage system affects the performance of the mechs throughout the missions. Damage to certain parts can directly impair functionality, such as hindering movement or rendering certain weapons unusable. Against the backdrop of a fractured world following Navis' attempt to control ancient weaponry, a supercorporation called the Combine emerges from the remnants of various corporations. The narrative revolves around Jack-O, a Raven, forming the Vertex organization to resist the dominance of the Combine. This sets the stage for the upcoming clash with Evangel, a Raven leading the resistance against Jack-O's forces. During this conflict, numerous Ravens have become independent warlords, managing the chaos that ensued after the crash of the Raven Ark. Featuring extensive customization with a variety of parts and weapons, as well as a component damage system that affects the performance of the mechanism.
