Battles in Army Men take place between toy troops. Playing for green soldiers, you need to destroy brown enemy units. There are 28 levels in total, which are divided into 3 stages. A single player game in Army Man includes 3 campaigns, which include the following locations:

• Desert - Cactus and Mesa Valley, Plastic City, Winding Canyon. A total of 9 missions are presented here: From Hell, Long Bridge, Battle Hardened, Violence, Robbery, Forward for the Commander, Sergeant's Feats, Smell of Death and Walking Under Fire.
• Alps – the protagonist and his team move north. You need to chase a truck. Later tasks involve finding spies, rescuing soldiers, and reaching evacuation points.
• Sea Bay – eliminating enemy scouts and getting to the final location. You need to reach the portal, returning to the real world.
