Ashes of Oahu is an open-world action RPG with a third-person view. The game has a post-apocalyptic setting with fantasy elements. The action takes place in Hawaii. The main character needs to liberate the island of Oahu from the occupiers. The plot is inspired by Hawaiian folklore and culture. The story has 100 endings. 3D graphics are stylized as flat comics. The area of ​​​​the territory in Ashes of Oahu is 25 square kilometers. The area can be freely explored on foot or on horseback. This land is inhabited by representatives of 4 factions. You can cooperate or be at odds with the groups. The power of the enemies depends on the selected difficulty level. Saving is allowed only in certain places. There are no autosaves. This indie project has story and side quests. In addition to completing tasks, you can hunt animals, destroy raiders, collect resources, craft and modify weapons. It is represented by hammers, blades, machine guns, shotguns, energy rifles. There is also magic. 50 skills are available for upgrading the hero. The project is still at a raw stage of development, although it has left early access. There are bugs and optimization problems. The protagonist can get stuck in textures. Controls do not always work correctly.
