Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood continues the story of the assassin Ezio Auditor, who continues the war with the Templar Order. The action takes place in late 15th century Rome. Basically, you will need to control Ezio in the past. In the present, the main character is Desmod Miles, who studies the art of assassins, driving the Animus 2.0 machine, capable of sending you into the past. The main enemy is the Borgia clan, which controls the politics of Rome in an illegal way.As in the previous parts, the main feature is parkour. The central character is able to climb houses, jump between them, run away from opponents or catch up. The hidden blade weapon is still present in the gameplay. The combat system is divided into 2 parts. If the main character is in an aggressive state, he will be able to tease the opponent, provoke him to take the first step, and then counterattack. You can also hit with your head, blade or fist, push away, carry out a powerful blow or disarm the enemy. In a defensive state, it is easier to block, parry, disarm an opponent, dodge or free yourself from a hold.Opponents in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood:
- The sneaks have spears or halberds, check the main character's location in a haystack.
- The thugs are powerful and tenacious opponents with thick armor, a two-handed sword or axe.
- 2 types of shooters: with a gun or a crossbow. The hero dodges crossbow shots by squatting.
- The Wolf's People attack in small groups. They are easy to defeat individually, but they usually attack in a squad.

Ezio uses the special ability Eagle Vision. Thanks to this skill, opponents are highlighted in red and can be seen through the environment. Allies are highlighted in blue. The player will also see useful items or objectives in the task. In the real world, the gamer will meet Lucy Stillman, the same assassin, but already experienced. In the past, you will meet such characters as: Cristina Vespucci, the beloved of the central character; Leonardo Da Vinci; Mario Auditore and many others.
