Astoria legends is a 2D slasher with a side view. There are various hits and a combination counter with different user skill scores, which quickly resets if you do not commit new kills. The indie project is best played with gamepads, since it was sharpened specifically for their use..

In Astoria Legends, we rule Cybele. She used to be in command of the rebel group Marna Carta. Now the girl travels the world and destroys divine creatures along with their admirers. After the old kings died, the gods, called the Astrals, established their own order. The heroine dreams of destroying the tyranny they created and reuniting the now split kingdom of Elnath.

The gameplay looks like this. The woman runs across locations and destroys enemies. From time to time she fights with the gods that act as bosses. As a reward for defeating the defeated leaders, they are given weapons. Initially, the heroine walks with a sword and a pistol. You can open a golden spear, a large halberd, ghost blades and other means of destroying foes. Each new type of weapon makes it possible to perform unique attacks. Cybele gains Blood Burst meter as she hits. When it is filled, it can push enemies aside and restore part of its health..
