The main character in ATOMINE is a small box Atomin, which can magically produce endless ammunition, lasers, electric charges, rockets or even drops of explosive slime, while dodging oncoming attacks from opponents. All actions take place in a minimalistic virtual space filled with many opponents, both ordinary NPCs trying to crush you with numbers, and bosses with their unique abilities and huge health. The prototype of the main character is STUXNET, a real virus that was found not only on the PCs of ordinary users, but also in industrial units controlled by automated systems. It was specially created to infect Nuclear Power Plants and drilling systems. In addition to the usual negative influences, it can collect information that was used in espionage and sabotage. Stages consist of several parts linked in a chain (Hack the National Army Base, NOP Bradmauser Control Panel), which must be overcome. ATOMINE locations are randomly generated, the player will not encounter two identical runs or repeated bonuses. You can complete a level only if you destroy all enemies and save your only life, which is taken away with several hits. Energy, healers, weapons or unique skills drop from defeated characters. Sometimes hacks of the system will interfere with the sortie, if they are not detected and neutralized in time, this will raise the hardcore of the passage to a new level.
