The events of Bandits: Phoenix Rising unfold in a post-apocalyptic world in which most of all living things have perished. However, the main characters, as well as their opponents, were lucky enough to stay alive, which is why they now began to compete for resources and a place under the Sun. The protagonists are the driver Fennec and the shooter Ryudalf. Together, they move through destroyed locations in their own armed car, which is presented as a mobile fortress.
