Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is a continuation of Batman's adventures through the nooks and crannies of the Arkham asylum for the insane. It seems that all the villains were caught in the previous part of the game, but peace and quiet in Gotham City did not last long. The main criminals once again managed to escape, but did not want to leave the prison walls. Instead, they arranged a mini-branch of hell in it, and the valiant hero in a bat costume must find them, defeat and punish them.In Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, you need to visit 3 story locations:

• Prison building. Habituation of the Penguin gang. The main attraction is the arena, where one of the key antagonists stages exhibition gladiatorial fights between former prison guards.
• Engine room. Black Mask has dug in here. The criminal has been nervous about being captured and is overcome by only one desire: to finish off the superhero who defeated him by any means necessary. He will stop at nothing and plans to blow up the medical complex.
• Administrative building. This is the Joker's fiefdom. As always, he is interested in watching Bruce Wayne's actions, and to amuse himself, he has created a neuroparalytic gas with which he wants to poison the prison staff.

The gameplay is noticeably different from the early games in the series. The picture has become two-dimensional, the number of enemies has decreased, as well as the combat capabilities of the main character. In some places provided by the developers, the location becomes three-dimensional, and the protagonist can go deep into the map. The levels are huge and there are a lot of secrets scattered across their territory. Solving puzzles will give your character an extra edge and improve their combat skills along with their defense.
