Battle for Wesnoth takes the gamer to the medieval era with orcs, elves, dwarves and other evil creatures with whom you have to constantly fight. All opponents have a fairly high intelligence, so you have to carefully think through your tactics. The game is dynamic, intuitive and pleasant interface, a large number of exciting and exciting missions. The player is offered a choice of single-player or multiplayer modes of Battle for Wesnoth. Single-player - involves passing separate campaigns consisting of several battles-scenarios. These battles are interconnected with one storyline, telling about the emergence and life of the fantasy kingdom of Wesnoth and the states bordering it. Multiplayer game implies the participation of up to 9 players who oppose each other. At the beginning of the game, the gamer has one warrior (leader). Subsequently, his main mission will be to create a powerful army to defeat enemies. To do this, he will have to train experienced fighters from novice conscripts and with their help destroy the enemy leaders. A campaign failure will be considered the elimination of the player's leader by the enemy, the death of characters helping the leader to fulfill his mission, and other circumstances. A special window that appears before the start of each battle will help the gamer determine the conditions of victories and defeats. By killing enemies, the warrior gradually gains experience and moves to a new level, which makes him more resilient and better armed. All characters in the game are well thought out. Each of them has their own health reserve, experience, fighting qualities, sometimes even their own history, which gives the player a wide field for imagination and the development of a well-thought-out, winning tactics.
