Bad Day L.A. Is an adventure video game set in an alternative Los Angeles, which has been hit by all sorts of cataclysms. You take control of Anton Williams - a man without a permanent residence, wandering around various places in the sunny city. But unexpectedly, terrorist planes with nuclear waste fall on LA, which instantly causes a number of disasters, from earthquakes to turning people into zombies. Without thinking twice, the protagonist decides to save his home from misfortunes, trying to change the situation.

The project is a third-person shooter in which conflicts are resolved with the use of firearms. Each of the ten levels will have its own special goal, and the environment will change depending on the type of incident: biological attack, landslide, meteors, fire, airport, gang showdown, tsunami, zombie bombs. And also there is a constant threat in the form of monsters, from which you need to fight off with melee or ranged weapons.

The game has a system of people's attitude to the protagonist. Usually it is neutral, but if you commit bad actions, like killing citizens or other negative actions, then the main character will be treated appropriately. But if you help the peaceful people in every possible way, saving them from bandits, extinguish cars or people, treat civilians-zombies, then, accordingly, there will be a good attitude, with all the accompanying bonuses. Also, there is a partner system. They will help in adventures, but you can only take one, which will equalize the chances on the battlefield.
