Beowulf: The Game is based on the epic Anglo-Saxon poem of the same name. The plot is set in Denmark. King Hrothgar, celebrating the opening of the drinking hall, wakes up the monster Grendel with loud music and laughter. He kills some of the celebrants and returns to the water demon. Beowulf, along with a squad of geth, arrives in Hrothgar to destroy the anthropomorphic monster by order of the king. Description of the first levels in Beowulf:

• Training - learning to move along rocks, destroy crabs and monsters;
• Demon's Storm - on a wooden Viking ship, Beowulf and his crew sail to Hrothgar across the sea;
• The Road of the King - a fight with crabs on the beach, a journey to the bridge;
• Grendel and the Golden Horn - episode 3, a meeting with the main antagonist Grendel;
• Temptation of the Goddess - Beowulf receives a sword and a golden horn and resurrects the Geats; battle with enemy warriors, travel to Grendel's cave;
• Innocence as a Sacrificial Sacrifice – choosing a heroic or bloody rune, meeting with a squad of evil spirits, gnomes and priestesses, a new fighter in the team;
• Hill – +2 fighters in the squad of geth, fight with barbarians;
• Ritual Temptation – a duel with trolls and a dark priestess; meeting with Grendel's mother, a water demon;
• Meeting with shadows - you will have to fight with the shadows of fallen fighters, the battle of the geth with the undead and the troll.

In the following episodes, the player will meet such new characters as the wolf skeleton, the sea serpent, the evil monkey, the leader of the Fomors. At level 12, Beowulf goes to a new island. The game ends with episode 16. The hero will fight the dragon.
