The action of Betrayal in Antara takes place in the Empire of Antara, a once powerful state. The adventure RPG project is a sequel to the famous Betrayal at Krondor. It differs from its predecessor in a higher level of detail and resolution, but otherwise it is the same huge fantasy world from the first or third person of your choice. Just 10 years ago it was economically strong, with large and developing cities, a combat-ready army. But now the country is mired in crime, intrigue and corruption. It is inhabited by various races - elves, dwarves, humans, who are constantly at odds with each other. A civil war has begun in the empire. As a result, Antara disintegrates into several principalities that do not stop fighting among themselves, shedding the blood of civilians. The main character decides to stop this madness, plunging into the world of secret treaties and battles. Betrayal in Antara gamers are offered a choice of 3 character classes, each with its own characteristics. The first is a sorcerer who creates powerful spells, but has virtually no defense or combat skills. The second is a warrior with incredible endurance, strong weapons, indispensable in close combat and well protected by armor. The third type is a rogue who prefers to fight from afar, and uses blades incredibly quickly up close. In addition to the class, players can choose the gender and appearance of their character. The hero goes on an exciting journey in a bright fantasy universe. On the way, he encounters various obstacles in the form of ordinary opponents and bosses. Battles in the game are turn-based and are conducted in an isometric perspective. Victory in them gives players experience points and gold. The first ones help the character gain new skills and abilities, and the second ones are necessary in order to buy new weapons and armor.
