Bionic Bay is a bright and unusual platformer with two-dimensional graphics. You should not expect much depth in the plot, so there will be few unexpected turns and surprises here. A person finds himself in an outlandish world that he will have to navigate. The gameplay offers a truly unusual swamp mechanic. Here you don't have to wait for a certain platform or passage to appear, but you have to make them yourself. The hero is able to make an object disappear and appear in the right place. Thanks to this, you can create flying bridges over chasms or remove obstacles. But it is worth considering that things are still subject to gravity, so you should consider how a huge log will behave in the air or where a huge boulder will fly after teleportation. If at first it seems that the levels in Bionic Bay are quite easy, then the gameplay only gets more complicated. At first, you will have to deal with only one or two necessary things, and then you will have to swap and move several platforms or jumping bases to the right positions at once. Also, sometimes there are logical puzzles, as well as tests for attentiveness. Due to the unusual drawing, it can be difficult to determine which elements of the environment are interactive, so you will have to try to find a strong vine or a hidden lever among the thickets to move to the end of the stage. The musical accompaniment perfectly complements the atmosphere of the task dimension, where the protagonist got and is now trying to get out of here.
