BioShock 2 is a futuristic first-person shooter and RPG genre components, continuing the first part of the series in the style of a retro dystopia. Taking the position of the first Big Daddy, the main character becomes a prototype for subsequent versions of Object Delta. Significantly different from other models, the protagonist was endowed with his own willpower and weapons. The events of the plot in Bioshock 2 begin ten years after the original part, where the monster kidnapped little girls underwater in the city of Rapture. At the start, the drill known from the previous part of the game is available, which becomes the main weapon for fighting against the enemy and causes the greatest damage in close combat. A wide selection of new weapons is provided, including a nail gun, a shotgun, a four-barreled machine gun, a harpoon and a grenade launcher. All weapons use three types of shells that are suitable for different opponents and combat tactics. The mechanics of two free hands of the character have been added, allowing you to use a weapon and a plasmid at the same time. The hero is dressed in a diving suit and during the passage, underwater forays will be made. The game will meet a new monster, a spicer, a strong and tough mutant that occupies the top of the food chain, can ram the hero or throw things. Hacking security systems, defensive weapons and safes has been improved and simplified. By studying the environment, audio files of local residents will be found, narrating the plot. In case of death, the hero can be revived in a specially designated chamber.
