Black Future 88 is a two-dimensional dynamic adventure in a post-apocalyptic alternative reality of the late twentieth century. The player gets the role of a survivor after a series of nuclear attacks carried out by the mad architect Duncan, who designed a military citadel. The villain himself settled on its top, and since then has been terrorizing the world with incessant bombing. Most people died, and the rest are only moments away from death. The protagonist moves towards the goal head-on: his priority is to kill the crazy Duncan and deal with the caretakers of the tower stuffed with deadly mechanisms.The hero of Black Future 88 must reach the antagonist and put an end to his power before he explodes himself. Only twenty minutes are allotted for the race, despite the fact that there are as many as five vast locations in the game, and the environment is far from calm and friendly. Every second something flashes, lasers and other defense systems are activated, and Duncan's henchmen are crawling from all sides. The player can choose one of five characters with individual characteristics. Each defender of humanity has combat advantages and weaknesses.Even with an impressive arsenal of weapons and abilities, you can only win by skillfully combining capabilities and changing tactics depending on the situation. The tense atmosphere in the shooter is created by an electronic soundtrack and neon animation with an abundance of explosions, flickering beams and illuminated platforms. The game can be mastered both alone and in cooperative mode on a common screen.
