A brother and sister ride a train and learn to get along with each other in Blackwood Crossing. Finn wakes up his sister, and she wakes up again, being frightened by a man in a rabbit mask, who was also frightened by her brother. Soon, even more strange figures with animal masks on their faces appear here, with whom the girl has dialogues. Soon, a tree house and her grandfather's greenhouse appear in the surroundings, so the girl stops believing in the reality of what is happening. During the journey, the girl masters and revives objects, learns to control fire. Here, the heroine also meets a dark, light-hating creature - Umbra.In the process, the children travel between different locations, where they will have to interact and transform the environment in order to move forward. There is a reservoir with a homemade raft, the country of Finnland, which the children decorate. Having defeated Umbra, the girl realizes that her brother has died, and all this time she has been talking to the spirit, constantly being accompanied by figures in masks. The boy says he can't go on - he doesn't remember what their parents look like, so the girl draws images of her mom and dad, and the mysterious characters turn into family. Together with her brother, the parents go into the moonlight, and Scarlett wakes up, realizing that it was a dream.
