Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a side-scroller made in the spirit of the classic platformer Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. You will play as a girl Miriam. She is an orphan who was raised by alchemists. The elders subjected the heroine to various magical experiments, as a result of which the girl fell into a coma for 10 long years. After waking up, Miriam realizes that she is cursed. Her life is supported by a certain Johannes. To lift the curse, she will need to collect crystal fragments of demons and defeat Gebel - a shardman who has long lost his humanity. The heroine learns that he is in the Castle of Demons, where the main actions of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will take place.The gameplay is a classic metroidvania, drawing inspiration from its ancestor - Castlevania. Fighting numerous enemies, Miriam gets new abilities and weapons that help to discover new secrets and passages to other parts of the castle. Pumping occurs due to the collected crystals. Collecting loot from defeated enemies, you can craft, creating new types of weapons and armor. In addition to the Worlds, two more game characters will be available, which will open during the passage of the story campaign. Each hero has unique movements, character and individual weapons. All characters can use a huge number of spells and special abilities. On their way, the protagonists will meet many NPCs, voiced by famous actors, including David Hayter, Ray Chase and Erica Lindbeck.
