Boinihi: The Ki Codex is a game in the Black Cube sci-fi quest series. The main character of this project is an astronaut named Boinihi, who disappeared and got lost in the vast expanses of space. The filtration and life support systems on his spaceship are in danger of failing, which threatens the traveler with a painful death from thirst. Hope comes to him in the form of a mysterious ghostly creature that directs him to salvation - a planet covered with forests, rivers and lakes. However, the land that gave him shelter is full of mysteries and secrets, hiding the remains of ancient civilizations, and they must be revealed. There is also a key to solving the ominous catastrophe that once befell the civilization.The gameplay of Boinihi: The Ki Codex is similar to other projects in the series and the famous quest Myst. The user will travel through locations full of mesmerizing landscapes and solve riddles, moving further along the plot. The presented puzzles are varied and will force you to put in a lot of effort - there are 11 of them in total, divided into 4 islands. In addition, you will have to determine your place on the map, control mechanisms and create potions. Part of the gameplay will also involve manipulation of objects that need to be found and combined. As you progress, the player will open pages of the mysterious Code of Ki, written in an alien language and carefully encrypted.
