BONELAB is a sci-fi action game that supports virtual reality gadgets, making it the most immersive, no-holds-barred, fast-paced gameplay possible. At the center of the plot is an unnamed male character who has been sentenced to the most terrible punishment - the death penalty. The protagonist is not going to end his life, and so he begins his escape. Except that to be free you have to overcome a huge system of underground tunnels and laboratories.

BONELAB offers various kinds of challenges in several genres. In one location the gamer will have to overcome an obstacle course, dodge huge axes and try not to fall into the red-hot lava. On the other one you must pass through a medieval labyrinth, which is crawling with very dangerous skeletons that have risen from their graves. Fortunately, the protagonist can defend himself against enemies with his fists as well as an impressive arsenal of cold and firearms.

On other locations the game will offer you to take part in bowling, but instead of a ball there is a character on a futuristic car, and pins have the size of a two-storey house. Controls are as close to reality as possible - the gamer has to use his own movements to reload the weapon, strike, aim and interact with the environment, which is also fully interactive.
