Borodino: The Science of Victory - A strategy game that takes you back to the reign of Napoleon. Events begin as Napoleon's Grand Army begins its invasion of the land. The action takes place near Smolensk, Utitsk forest and Shevardino village. Kutuzov and Emperor Alexander I himself will command the regiments.
No general story campaign. History mode is represented by a set of 21 scenarios, covering the events of this or that battle. Play as Kutuzov or Napoleon. All troops on the maps correspond to historical data. Units are divided into three types: infantry, cavalry, and artillery. Each group of troops has its own indi vidual skills and characteristics. Use their capabilities by building unique tactics against enemy troops.
Often the goal of missions in Borodino: The Science of Winning is to hold ground or capture enemy territory. Also, victory can be scored by killing all the enemies on the map. A fully voiced briefing is played before the battle begins, introducing the story as well as telling about historical events.
Features many animations made on the game's engine. The interface is very simple and friendly. It reflects the units' attack strength, morale, and the number of troop losses in the camp. Some scenarios challenge even the most avid fans of the genre. Just look at the Royal Bastion mission. Try your hand at it!
