Bound By Flame is a story about a swordsman warrior named Vulcan, whose fate is connected with a certain demonic entity trying to destroy the hero's soul, but at the same time endowing him with magical abilities. Due to the presence of demonic filth in the blood, the protagonist is subject to the fire element. From sparks, he can mold fireballs and inflict additional damage on monstrous opponents. At the same time, pumping up the magic skill does not make the character a terminator, and he is still forced to use cold weapons. The plot of Bound By Flame is frankly passable: disgusting creatures have invaded the world, a group of mages is trying to prevent the apocalypse, and the main character is accidentally drawn into saving the universe, thanks to his acquaintance with the dark side of his personality. This has never happened before, and here it is again. There is no real moral dilemma in Bound By Flame, as well as a lack of lore development, and the presence of interesting characters, and balanced game mechanics. The companions accompanying Vulcan on his journey are of very little use: they are ineffective in combat and quickly lose consciousness, so the hero has to carry the battles on his own.The combat skill system depends on the fighting style - this is a swordsman with an emphasis on powerful attacks and a rogue, capable of deftly dodging enemy attacks. The main actions are a strike on the target, an area strike, a pyromancy skill and a slowly recharging block. The design of the evil spirits is interesting at first, but after getting acquainted with all types of opponents, it becomes boring to stick to grueling fights in tight locations. Moreover, even imba armor upgrades do not give the character any noticeable protection.
