The player learns about sacrificial rituals, torment, and terror. Maya hides numerous secrets and bloody battles that open under the curtain of popular structures. The adventure begins when a journalist named Nico Collard accidentally encounters an ancient artifact. Along with his companion George Stobbart, he had no idea that his ordinary trek would turn into a web of mysterious events and deadly obstacles. To survive, heroes will need to overcome mysterious enemy forces trying to accomplish dark goals.

As you progress, the gamer will encounter many secondary characters (over 60 units). You can interact with each of them, learning more information or features of the environment. There are hundreds of puzzles and interactive items required to progress in the walkthrough. Each location consists of many small details and hidden items.
