The game tells the long story of heavy metal, Eddie Riggs, who helps rock bands arrange concerts. He is in charge of sound, decoration, lighting, and getting people to come and listen to music. However, one day he takes on an order: to make the best rock concert for the world's worst metal band. But at one point he wakes up - Brutal legend. During the performance, Eddie's blood gets on the belt buckle. This buckle serves as an ancient talisman, from which Ormageddon, the representative of the ancient race of the burners of heaven and earth, breaks out! He teleports Eddie to another world, where the souls of people are captured by demons, metal and rock music is playing around. The setting itself was built by the Titan race, who left monuments and messages for people around, and only Eddie can read them and recognize the meaning, because he is organizing the music sent from the underworld!

As soon as he enters this world, in his hands the guitar comes to life with new possibilities, and an ax comes to the rescue, with which he kills the army of fanatics. Next, he meets Ophelia, a girl belonging to the resistance. Together they make a car to get out of this hell, and call it "Druid Plowman". When they arrived at the place where it all began, the hero learns that the world was taken over by the emperor of evil - Dovikulos. The main character will have to fight with him.

The world of the game is shrouded in mysticism, Scandinavian mythology and heavy metal. In such an environment, fighting is pleasant, but killing seems normal. The hero will use his guitar and a handy ax to cut through crowds of enemies and strive for the truth in order to close the dark world forever, and expel Dovikulos from our planet, and free the imprisoned souls of people, swallowed by demons.
