Bunker Punks combines a first-person shooter and a roguelike. The game imitates old-school FPS. There is no reloading and health regeneration. But there is a circular strafe and cartridges falling from enemies. To restore HP, you should find first aid kits. There are few healing items on the levels. Most items quickly disappear if they are not picked up in time. Locations are randomly generated. They are single-level and represent laboratories, warehouses and other closed rooms. For convenience, there is a pre-opened map of the area. The stages are inhabited by robots, cyborgs, mechanical dogs and other similar creatures. Bunker Punks' plot tells the story of a group of people confronting corporations and the government in a dystopian future. Revolutionaries live in a bunker and periodically crawl to the surface to raid another enemy facility and rob it. Between runs, they sit underground. The base can and should be upgraded, and your fighters - improved.Upgrades provide new opportunities and make it easier to exterminate enemies. You can recruit other punks to your squad. They have different abilities and bonuses. However, you are allowed to send only one on a mission. The gameplay here is old-school. Dynamic shooting of evil spirits is reminiscent of the shooters of the nineties. The arsenal here is classic: a pistol, a shotgun, a rocket launcher, a machine gun, a double-barreled gun, a plasma rifle. In close combat, the characters use a katana.
