In Castle of Shikigami 2, the player is faced with a choice at the beginning of the game, to begin the gameplay, you need to choose one of the 7 characters presented in the game. Each of them has their own unique abilities and special attacks to destroy enemies. The gameplay is leveled, for each character there are 5 stages. In each of them the number of enemies, their speed of movement and difficulty increases. At the end of each of them is a boss. Features of the game:

• Two modes - normal and extreme modes.
• The placement of enemies on the stages has changed - their location is implemented completely differently than in the first part of the game.
• Variability of passage - you can switch between characters, playing in two-player mode. At this time, the computer performs the function of the idle. This way you can open alternative endings without playing with a friend.
• Three methods of attack: normal, shikigami and special.

After destroying the boss, small stories are played out, in which the history of the selected character is revealed. As you play through the game for each of them, it turns out that the characters' stories are intertwined. What's also interesting is that you can play together (or play alone for two characters at the same time), and then the characters' stories between levels will be different, since the heroes interact with each other.
