Catmaze

Catmaze is a fabulous metroidvania with a kind, exciting and colorful plot, inspired by the myths of the ancient Slavs. The main role is played by Alesta, a sorceress living in the world of Yav, who will go through all the trials in the dark forests and mysterious paths, only to find a long-forgotten and lost road to Nav, to the world of the dead. And the cat Bayun will help her with this. Strange as it may seem, but cats have always been the link that connected the world of the living and the dead. And that is why they have 9 lives.All the horror stories told to children come to life in the labyrinths of gloomy swamps, ancient forests. Mysterious creatures kikimoras, wood goblins and mermaids turn out to be reality, and they keep secrets. And having found them out in a whirlwind of adventures, the hidden paths to the world of the dead will become visible. To quickly complete the battle, the main character Alesta can use familiars, summoned creatures that have helped sorcerers for many centuries, melee and ranged combat up to six of each for twelve different familiars, while one of them is given out immediately at the beginning of the game, the rest are scattered around the world map and are provided after a small test of feat. Familiars are also important to unlock to advance into deeper areas. In order for the map to open up more, you need to find warp points. Catmaze also allows you to customize Alesta's characteristics to suit your individual style. The world hides many characters whose fates are entirely in the hands of the user.
