The Mason family inherited his home after his grandfather Bernard died. This is where they grew up and now they can build their own family nest on the family estate again. Along with them, the ever-present red cat named Aspen moves in. He is everyone's favorite and the protagonist of this story. And though it may seem that he can not solve anything in human life, it is not so. The hero is able to come to the rescue in time, to comfort with his purr or to drop a vase from the table quite casually to draw the family's attention to the danger.

The gameplay of Cats and the Other Lives is as simple as possible. The user will have to interact with various items with the help of the cat, walk around the yard and the local streets and ward off various pests. Gradually, the player will get to know each character, and delve into the family's underlying history and problems. There's room for love, drama, tears, breakups, small joys, and true happiness.
