Chameleon is a third-person action shooter developed and released back in 2005. Advanced graphics for those times allow this project to be launched even on weak personal computers. The player is entrusted with controlling characters codenamed Chameleon. The protagonist is tasked with more than 10 missions in different parts of the globe, on 4 continents. A variety of environmental objects and frequent changes in the setting do not let you get bored throughout the entire single-player campaign, which takes about 6 hours. The tasks set before the main character are distinguished by their maximum variety, because some levels include stealth elements. For example, sabotage missions behind enemy lines involve penetrating classified or well-guarded territories, which is why it is necessary to carefully plan each action several moves ahead, because the enemy has a huge numerical advantage. Special spy equipment can always help out the player, but only if the available gadgets are used correctly. The arsenal includes standard types of weapons: pistols, rifles, machine guns and several types of grenades. Weapons are unlocked gradually, as the game progresses. Enemies are also equipped with the latest technology, so an easy walk is not expected.
