Chronicle of Innsmouth is a game interpretation of the work of Howard F. Lovecraft about a small coastal town in which strange and mystical events occur. The gameplay of the project repeats the adventure games of the 90s. As the main character, the gamer will have to investigate the local curse that has engulfed the whole of Innsmouth. The story begins with a journey through New England. At one station, the character learns about an abandoned fishing village filled with cults and secrets, disappearances and horrors. Driven by curiosity, he arrives there, hoping to uncover the mysteries of this place. However, the locals carefully keep their secrets, so you will have to put in a lot of effort. Along the way, you need to collect information, solve puzzles.Controls in the Chronicles of Innsmouth are standard for adventures of those times - all actions are performed with the mouse. The left button is responsible for most activities, moving around locations. The right one - skips dialogue phrases, allows you to examine objects or apply the most logical action. Interaction is designed by 9 different plates located at the bottom of the screen. Each of them says what it allows you to do. First, an activity is selected, then its goal. Next to the plates is the GG's inventory. It displays all available items, and they can also be combined for further use. In the process of passing the episodes, it is possible to get various achievements, although they do not affect the plot.
