CHRONO TRIGGER tells about a company of young adventurer heroes, wandering through time and space and going to different eras. In a Japanese role-playing game, such a journey is aimed at preventing a catastrophe that awaits the Virtual Universe in the future. RPG received a non-linear plot with a well-developed world and its inhabitants, as well as graphics that became a real breakthrough in its time.There are 7 heroes here:

• Chrono is a young guy who, despite his age, is distinguished by his courage, ability to fight. A young man lives with his mother and is devoted to his friends.
• Marley is the daughter of the king of the state of Guardia - a country in which 3 friends live. The princess escapes to pretend to be an ordinary resident of the state.
• Lucca is a young inventor who creates a teleportation device that broke down, opening a portal in time.
• Frog - a knight from 600 n. e. He lives in the Middle Ages and is distinguished by valor, but an evil wizard turned him into a frog.
• Robo is a robotic creature living in 2300, who dreams of becoming a human.
• Eyla - protects people from dinosaurs, living in the Stone Age.
• Magus is an evil sorcerer who commands demons. Accidentally falls into a time trap, but you can either not meet him or kill him.

The first three characters are from real game time, and the rest join the team during adventures. The companies will visit the Stone Age, the Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the present game time, in the bottom of Lavson - to the local apocalypse, in the future, end of time and the black sign - in the place covering all time periods. Chrono wakes up on a summer morning and goes to the Millennium Fair. At the celebration, the young man meets a girl Marl, with whom they go to Lucca. A young inventor is going to test the created teleportation machine. In the process, a malfunction occurs due to the action of the medallion of the first girl, as a result of which a portal to other times opens. Marl herself disappears, so the guy immediately rushes after her. The gameplay is standard for the genre, but here the user takes control of three wards at once. As the company progresses, it explores the Virtual World, which is full of cities and other settlements, caves, forests, where interaction with other inhabitants takes place. The protagonists go through chains of quests, collect different items, fight enemies and solve logic problems.
