Civilization: Call to Power is the ideological successor to the creations of the well-known Sid Meier. Using a familiar formula - build a city, extract resources, develop technologies, compete with other countries - the developers managed to greatly deepen the gameplay. In particular, the most interesting innovations were added to the systems of managing armies during battle, as well as monitoring the behavior of the population in cities. The first thing that catches your eye, compared to the 4X strategies of that time, is the way military units interact. Instead of the usual plugging of some units with others, fighters form three-echelon links. The first row is occupied by warriors sharpened for close combat, such as knights or infantry. The second row is given to long-range fighters, and they will not receive damage while a melee fighter is in front of them in the line. The last garrison is made up of support units, in the variety of which the game is very generous. In Civilization: Call to Power, the development of your state does not freeze upon reaching the 21st century, but continues until the 30th. Amazing technologies of the future open up new horizons for building a strategy. In addition to land, you can and should develop the oceans by building underwater city-colonies and highways between them and the earth. But that's not all, it is also possible to expand your influence in the orbit of the planet. Artificial satellites will allow for the rapid transfer of units even across half the world, as well as orbital shelling of enemy cities.
